It is mainly composed of: motor, distillation bottle, heating pot, condensing tube and other parts of the common laboratory equipment.  The new rotary evaporator is mainly used for continuous distillation of a large number of volatile solvents under reduced pressure.  In particular, the distillation of the receiving liquid during the concentration of the extraction liquid and the chromatographic separation can separate and purify the reaction products.

Rotary Evaporator main components:

1. The rotating motor drives the evaporation bottle by rotation.

2. An evaporation pipe, a support shaft for the evaporation bottle to rotate, and a vacuum-sealed pipe for extracting steam from the material.

3. Vacuum system, reduce the pressure in the evaporator system, reduce the boiling point of the material.

4. Heating water and oil bath, usually water or oil to heat the material.

5. In order to speed up the condensing efficiency, the condenser is usually made into a double snake surround type, and then the condensing agent such as dry ice and acetone is added to condense the sample.

6. Condensate collection bottle at the bottom of the condenser used to capture the distillation solvent after recondensation and collect samples.

7. Lifting device, a mechanical or motorized mechanism that quickly lifts an evaporating bottle from a heated bath.
